A Call for Help

I've been a member here for a few years now, so many of you guys know me...at least to the degree that a person can be known in this format. Here's the story.

My career is at a crossroads. I've been trying to make some changes, for example, getting away from health insurance and getting into life and annuities. Many reasons motivate this change...main one being all the moving parts involved in health insurance, underwriting that is completely unpredictable, the list goes on and on.

So, the crossroads is where I'm at right now.

What kind of 'help' am I looking for? I want to work with a GA/FMO or similar that allows me to tap into an existing marketing effort (i.e. good leads or work an existing book and I'm open to other ideas, etc) and I'll take a lower contract on carriers that I work with you on. I'm not going to give away the farm, because I'm good at what I do and working with me would be a lucrative arrangement for both of us. But lower contract rates are what I'm using as bargaining chips...

I'm located in Austin, TX and only licensed here, but willing to look into getting licensed in other states as needed.

Hmmm...a few years ago I was looking into wholesaling annuities. Didn't pan out, but it seemed interesting. Can you help me learn more about this?

Consider using the health to FOCUS on the life and annuity biz. In this economy EVERYONE is looking to SAVE dollars. Use the health to get to the life & annuity biz.
