Aetna will decline; any suggestions
If it's a lead you paid for I'd return it and ask for credit. Don't waste your time chasing a phantom deal.
What sort of ROI are you enjoying? Who are the lead vendors that help you achieve the greatest ROI?
Still learning but currently I'm selling 1 out of 15 shared leads at $8/lead. Getting appointed with most/all carriers in my state helped immensely. The best lead service I used was Leads4agents. ASAP is either hit or miss. I tried Hometown Quotes and Benepath but they don't let you pause your account which sucks.

You know Lou, an acquisition cost of $120 per client (1 out of 15 @ $8 a pop) is not all that bad.
I used HTQ in the past, they let me pause my account whenever I wanted to by just sending them an email?

Not sure what state your in, but i had a very similar case here in Florida. Did a pre-screen with Cigna and Aetna, 5K deductible HSA, Cigna came back with a 75% rate up, Aetna as you already know, would not consider.
Good to know if they ever come here. Aetna picked up my diabetic's and bipolar's and nothing else until they finally got serious about writing cases that are more than just a dumping ground.
