I propose that all new US currency have In God and Chuck We Trust

"Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it." Ronald Reagan
Can Huckabee be considered a serious contender now that he is surging in Iowa? I remember both Newt Gingrich and Bill Clinton also gave Huckabee sort-of endorsements a couple months back; I guess this implies he is sufficiently generic enough to have a broad appeal and not really turn anyone off too much.
"acting" is in the mind of the beholder, or is that actor, or is that watcher, or what is it, exactly?
Steven Seagal's films have, for the most part, been not very theatrical, but they do serve a purpose. Where else can I get my dose of on-screen thuggery, good guy vs. bad guy, shoot-em-up, kicking/fighting mojo? In that respect, Chuck was too nice.
Give me a movie with Seagal, Wesley Snipes, Jason Statham, and Jet Li any day of the week over any nonsense with Nicole Kidman or who's that Academy award winning actress, oh yea, Meryl Streep - yuk. Nothing smarmy like a Redford flick.
Oh yeah, you can add Matt Damon to the list, as long as he's in Jason Bourne's character!
Well, Bruce is fun, but he doesn't do the kickboxing stuff....notice how I left off Van Damme (GGGGRRRRRRRRRRR) - I can't stand listening to the groans....
Bruce was funny in that movie where he was the mob guy next door to the dentist guy from Friends....don't recall the name though
It looks like his opponents are mining the Arkansas Ethics Commission for material and finding a juicy amount of it; and if the journalist who wrote the article has done his investigation right Huckabee's truth squad has got a lot more explainin' to do -- they'll have to do better than just say the commission is a bunch of Democrats.
But then Huckabee's a Baptists minister so maybe he'll get a break.

I wouldn't take any thing written in Newsweek on face value. I know Huckabee has some problems, but this article seems to be nothing more then a hit piece. Any Republicans that look like they may be the nominee will diffently get treated like dirt by such new outlets, if anyone today actually considers Newsweek a legitiment news source. Much like CNN, they have diffently showed their true agenda and it isn't journalism.
