Nothing out of the ordinary for Cigna. They are 3 weeks minimum to issue once a case hits underwriting.
Aetna is now in the same boat. My last few cases are taking a month plus and that is for a clean app. I was told they have an 11,000 app backlog they are working through.
Cigna pays subject to a minimum $25 (or maybe $50) check. They pay once a month. Got mine today.
It depends on when the policy was issued. If issued by the 20th of the month you should get paid after the first of the month following.
Going through an
FMO won't improve your turn around with either of these carriers. Given the commission accounting problems with both, I would never trust an
FMO to get it right either.
