Client Mad with BCBS

I learned today that a client who was mad at BCBS (long story) cancelled his coverage before finding replacement coverage.

Next thing he knows his wife is having fainting spells, and takes a ride in an ambulance, tests, more tests, ct scan, and they still don't know what caused it. He figures he's in the hole for about 10 grand.

Yikes not good, but an example for us to use if we need to do so.

His stupidity will set him back more than that. Sounds like his wife won't find coverage any time soon.

Can you say bankruptcy?

A prime example of how uninformed much of the general public is. Pride and anger have been the downfall of many a person.

Does it really matter which company you insert in this statement? This has been my month for everyone to be mad at Kaiser... including me! They are the hardest company to work with on the broker side.
