Closing Over The Phone             Go to Top

Hey Guys

ANy suggestions on which companies I can hook up with, so I'll be able to close a deal over the phone. I mean, once they are off the phone with me, they have the policy. I heard few companies doing this and was wondering if it is possible for someone that is solo to be able to do this.
Am I making any sence?

There are a few companies can do that. But you have to find an IMO to contract. Ask the IMO about your questions.

I have two term companies and an FE company that will sell over the phone. I don't know of one for regular WL or UL that will take an e-app.

So it sounds like you want a company that will complete the app process and take the signature over the phone, correct?

I only know of one company and that is a Final Expense carrier. There are a lot of products you can sell over the phone, but they will require a digital or wet signature.

The cost per $1000 for a product sold via the process you are describing will be much higher than others. Although, convenient for the agent, it is often not the best option for your client.

If you want to simplify the process get a good non-med product, a couple full med carriers and a good CRM system. The only other way to simplify, that I can think of, is to find an IMO that will do all of your apps-out and back office. But they will take a sizable piece of each deal for their effort.

I hear good things about RBC.

ALso Assurity Life now has all of their products on E Apps.

What is the name of the FE company that will let you sell over the phone?

IMO=Independent Marketing Organization, or In My Opinion! Take your pick. It depends on how it is used. In "pomfin's" case it is used as the former.

There are several that will allow phone apps. My personal favorites are West Coast Life, Assurity, and RBC - those three will cover just about any standard life insurance need you come across.

The poster posed the question in terms of "once I am off the phone the client has the policy" or something like that.

I understand that to be true with RBC but am confused about your suggestion for West Coast Life. What plan are we talking about there where underwriting is bypassed?

Ugh, my reading comprehension is excellent. My apologies. WCL has a great TeleLife program, but the client does have to go through underwriting. Sorry about that.
