Commission Splits

I have been with Farmers for a month and a half now in southern california. Quoted 85 policies, written 3. I have been talking with a private brokerage that wants to bring me on. With my experience (2 months) what is a reasonable/realistic commission split for P&C (emphasis on selling commercial products)? Thank you.

Are you the sub-agent, or owner? Are you dissatisfied with your current gig? P&C commissions aren't jack, you are building renewals and the opportunity to cross-sell more lucrative products. If you are thinking of changing, do a search in this forum as this issue has been addressed before.
