Why are you surprised? Suckering in people is what arch/neo-cons do best. We libs are no match for you. I got suckered in by "Read My Lips, No New Taxes" by GB-1 and "Compassionate Conservatism" by GB-2. When it comes to suckering people, my hat is off to you guys.
Did any of you neos get suckered in my "Change You Can Believe In?" Of course not. Not one of you voted for Obama (not that you would vote for a black guy... liberal or conservative.) Nope. None of you neo guys got sucked in. But both Bushes sucked in a whole hell of a lot of liberals and moderates.
We're easy... because we want to believe in the goodness and kindness of people... unlike neos who only see greed, selfishness, and avarice. Put up a "feel good, warm fuzzy" candidate and you will "get us" every time.

It's hosted on a Wordpress platform and some filters assign it to a "blog" category. If the sensitivity on the filter is waaaay up, like with public access computers, then iliaa.org will get caught in the filter.
I oversaw and continue to oversee every bit of content on the site and can verify there is no adult material or malware on the site.
I can just hear the phone on Monday - is it too late to take advantage of the October offer?
Yes, it's too late. It is now November.
And then I'll hear, but I didn't see the offer.
And I'll say, you should read your bulletins.
And they'll say, but I never have time.
And I'll say... What can I say?
Rick,
They never believe me when I tell them it's a great deal, why would they have listened to you?
Now here's an offer for you and your new association/website. Pay attention everyone, it will not appear anywhere else unless Rick or Nick talk it up:
Anyone who joins ILIAA association/website, before the end of this year, can have their first paid year of term quotes for their own website, for $49 (which is half off the regular price - a subscription to Compulife's PC software is required). Just tell Compulife, when your 4 FREE months are up, that you are a member of the ILIAA and we'll check in with Rick or Nick, confirm you joined before 2010, and you get your $50 off and 12 more months of web quotes for $49.
Rick, please don't tell Al that I just made another offer.

I did vote for Bush 41 in 1988 but I voted for Clinton in 1992. I voted for Dole-Kemp in 1996. I did vote for Bush 43 both times.
On another note, aren't your comments about politics in the wrong category?
And where did you come up with that analysis? There is no stipulation on what non-commercial content can be in any section. Threads often (almost always) wander way off topic in this venue. The only rule we had was no advertising in any section but "Offers." However, you tested that rule and apparently you have had it repealed. Of course it might only be for YOU... and not the next spammer who comes along from NAA or PPL.
Rick, please don't tell Al that I just made another offer.
Obviously you can spam the list to your heart's content. Since Sam allowed your advertisement in the other Compulife thread to stand, it seems to me that he is OK with any and all advertisements on the board.
You won. I lost. You gotta be the happiest guy in this venue. You can hawk your (IMO... mediocre) quoting engine 24/7 anywhere in the venue you want.
You are Robert Barney, the owner of Compulife. If there are any rules, they obviously don't apply to you with your power and prestige. I'm certain you are pleased. I'm sure the vast majority of the people here think very highly of you and are also pleased that you can post whatever spam you wish anywhere and any time you wish. There is nothing that I can do about it, so I just go with the flow... and like everyone else congratulate you on your victory and eagerly look forward to your next spam-o-gram. I and maybe a few others might have wished that you were a bit more gracious in said victory, but your presence here (as opposed to Glen's board) is reward enough and no one has the will or purpose to judge you... especially not after challenging the no-spam rule and winning.

If you're already in Chumps' association, the price for ILIAA membership doubles. We know that Chumps provides so much value to his members, that you've got to be making at least twice what the average agent makes and can therefore afford the increased dues.
But Bob, just for you, I'll cut a deal - 50% off of the doubled price.

I had no idea that Chumps had his own association. Are these competing associations? Are Rick and Nick running the Department of Redundancy Department?
What's the difference between the two? How many other associations are out there I don't know about?
Re: Compulife's 27th Anniversary Super SpecialsGo to Top
Robert...My Association does not compete with the ILIAA.
My dues are much higher, I state upfront that I offer no advice or offer any help to agents, and I discourage any exchange of ideas between members.
However, with close to 50,000 members, our annual conventions are the best in the industry and our free online vision insurance quote engine is the only one of its kind.
