If this helps....I have been interviewing with local Allstate (P/C) offices lately and I have been offered:
1. base $10 hr ($#$$&@#@^%)
NO commission, but a $10 per auto policy and $20 per home.
I guess they are a flat commission.
No benefits of any kind
2. base $10.50 til licensed, then a $12 or so (unspecific)
50% commission on all home, auto (The agencys gets 10% of every policy in comm, and I get 50% of that..which aint bad at all)
No benefits of ANY KIND, and a shoddy employer attitude to booy.

So far, NOT impressed by Allstate at all.
What type of benefits do you want (e..g, paid training, health, sick days, etc.)???

Especially in Michigan is one of the best songs on the album, but I'm pissed they didn't play it at the Columbus show last October. The Buckeyes would have loved it!
