Does anyone sell off of craigs list?
I see a lot of ads for life, health, and auto under different sections, but always wondered if it brought in good leads or if it was a complete waste of time.

I will try anything that is free. I'm going to try it soon. What could it hurt. I would like to know if anyone else is making sales from it.
Free is not always free.
You need to value your time, my guess is if you get calls, they will not be that productive, eating up your time for more serious business.
I haven't done it, be interesting to see what comes out of it.
I've found that the deal with Craigslist, is that you can use it to your advantage, and the people who typically respond, are smarter than the average "Joe six-pack," but it's sort of like doing business on shifting sands. Also a major time commitment, because, it like every other type of marketing requires, persistency.
I've done it. That being posted Ads. No response. I've only done it sporadically, though. You may need to post as often as possible because your ad quickly gets moved down the list to the point where it will be on the second page and most people probably don't go that far.
I did have a member of PETA call me and tell what a terrible person I was to use craigs list because peta thinks craigs list supports poor treatment of animals.
Ya ever try to talk to these kinds of people? They are crazier that a sh*t house rat!

Never met a sh*t house rat, but I'll take your word for it. Be careful you might be arrested for hate speech towards rats.
Perhaps the best way to Craigslist market is to reverse market to everyone posting... these are, we can presume, self-employeds in need of benefits and expert consultations.
I've seen the occasional Craig's List ad show up in the search engine results pages. They probably help a little with SEO if you link from the ad to your site. However, since the ad is removed after a week or so, it may not be worth the effort.
