I don't know anything about them, but I imagine someone here does. Anyway, I get mailing from them all the time. I put them in a box of stuff that I'll have to consider if I decide I can't work my captive gig at some point down the line.

I have heard cold solutions is not worth the money. This came from FMO'S that promoted them before. Total waste of money.

They are owned by Allianz. I worked with them and the leads they sent s-cked. Stay away, don't believe anything they say.

yes they are owned by Allianz and I suggest that you stay away. Look at Blueprint Financial out of Dallas for annuity. Good Company with integrity.

Re: Dealing with Gameplan             Go to Top

The "free leads" were basically a Microsoft Streets printout of one or two streets by my office in street number order. Basically worthless.

Re: Dealing with Gameplan             Go to Top

OH, I must share - my 100 free leads were a bunch of apartment dwellers in a low-income zip code. The post about it being a MS street pull down makes total sense.

By the way, once I switched my contract away from them (and I don't write Allianz anymore - talk about scary!) I don't hear from them at all. Maybe an e-mail from time to time. GamePlan is one of my worst FMO experiences.

Re: Dealing with Gameplan             Go to Top

A friend of mine recently called me who is looking to jump into doing annuities and told me she signed with them and they're going to give her free leads! She was so excited about that. It's a little too late for her now b/c she's already signed a contract with them (wondering if they'll let her out with no release) but anyway, I appreciate the feedback you all posted.

So bottom line is: abstain from Gameplan. Unless someone wants to come forth and say something other to entice one to sway that way... Gameplan's way?

Re: Dealing with Gameplan             Go to Top

Here's another thing: Allianz will not allow you to move your contract until it's been 6 months of no production. Don't expect GamePlan to accomodate a request for a switch.

Re: Dealing with Gameplan             Go to Top

Gameplan has and always will be a boiler room.

The owners were geniuses. They had college grads pounding the phones @ a rate of 100 calls per day until they got their annual premium up to 1 billion. Then they sold and made a fortune. Good for the owners, bad for the agents. I hear one of the former owners is opening a new shop.

And, as far as moving an Allianz contract. It no longer requires 6 months-no business.

You simply send in a letter of intent to transfer followed by an additional letter 6 months later. In premium written during the 6 month transfer process will be credited to the former FMO. After 6 months your contract transfers over to the new company. So, you can keep writing but your new FMO won't see the business for 6 months.

Hope this helps some as this is my 1st post.

Re: Dealing with Gameplan             Go to Top

I recently joined Game Plan but have not received any support. I called them and was told there wasn't much they could do. But, the did direct me to their direct mail company for annuities and I am planning to give it a try.

Re: Dealing with Gameplan             Go to Top

So, this would be the part where you provide details. What direct mail company are they recommending? Let's not forget that they were 100% behind Cold Solutions, which was 100% a scam and is now 100% bankrupt and out of business. Therefore, we should be suspicious that they are using another less-than-scrupulous company which will do the same.....

Re: Dealing with Gameplan             Go to Top

I recalled calling GamePlan to tell my assigned advisor I was ready to start and he NEVER returned by phone call. I even stated I was ready to go out in the field with their leads and was excited about doing business with them based on how well my friend spoke of the support and leads.

What a waste of breath!
