You mentioned cloning humans. I guess you don't watch the news. Imus has been the topic du jour. Getting kind of old actually.
Later,
You got me on that one. The only thing important to me is the weather and reading the daily news during my morning coffee. The cloning humans comment was in reference to the stem cell research used to test the 15 subjects.....
I heard this a while back, theres a great book called everything you wanted to know but your doctors wouldnt tell you( or something to that effect) it says that there's been a cure for a while. It seems that the fda wants money and if they release a cure for dieases such as cancer and aids they wont make any money on the seloing of there drugs. Basically more money in controling a diease then curing it.
This is for Type 1 though. Won't do anything for the large number of people who develop diabetes as they age. Still a good development though for those who have type 1.
The same process (using stem cells) may show promise for Type II. Many Type II situations can be controlled thru diet, sometimes supplemented with oral meds such as Glucophage.
Of course, most if not all type II diabetes is preventable with diet & exercise.
No But I would really enjoyed having a cafeteria a short walk away for the 3 days mt wife was in the hospital giving birth. I told her we need someone here to cook for us when we wan it.
It would be awesome to even have a salad bar or a sandwich dressing station fully loaded with toppings in your kitchen that you had to load like once a week.
