Diability Quote...?

I have a friend who needs disability insurance. She just got turned down with Aflac. She's on Lexipro for several years now...and otherwise is in perfect health.

She's 46 yrs old, non-smoker, professional.

Anyone know who would accept her?

You might try Assurant Voluntary Market: They have an individual Disability policy with 14 day wait that you can submit online.

I think Illinois Mutual has a disability policy for persons with some impairments that preclude them from qualifying for the full blown DI policy.

...the only impairments to her would be...mental depression.

So what would the exclusions be?

Suicide?...but that would be a permanent disability (sigh)

She's never been admitted to a Psych ward....or hosipitalized for depression.

Quite frankly...i don't understand why she was turned down By Aflac...
