My sister delayed her daughter's MMR vaccination because of fears it might cause autism. She plans to have her kid vaccinated when she's beyond the age when autism is most commonly detected. I just hope pediatricians respect this decision. At the same time, I understand how frustrating it must be for doctors. Sigh.
