Driving traffic is one thing. Converting that traffic into credible leads, especially for group health, is another.

My personal opinion is you will be wasting dollars. Getting folks to your website for group health is a repeat impression game. You basically need to get the right eyeballs on your site at the right time. Someone who see's your ad today but has a June renewal will forget all about you by the time March or April rolls around when they get their renewal.

You have to run a 12 month campaign if you are targeting small group. If large group, most of your renewals will track a calendar year and those folks are already gathering renewal options.

I spent a lot one year on a direct mail campaign promoting my website. I put together a really nice mailer that had two pieces too it. I had bought a key contact mailing list of 3,800 small business under 20 lives. I sent the mailings out at the start of the 4th quarter with both pieces arriving within 2 weeks of each other. It resulted in 0 sales. I was so pissed off I fired the marketing firm that put everything together for me.

If you want to do direct mailing the best results will come from you mailing info to the contact and then calling them.
