It’s once again Disability Insurance Awareness Month, and both DIAM sponsor Life Happens and the Council for Disability Awareness have some resources available for producers (more info in story in link below).

Anybody have any special initiatives going this month?

We have a really good niche short term disability plan available in about 31 states for people who work in healthcare. This is a direct plan and does not have to go through an employer. The policyholder pays with a checking or savings account. Covers, accidents, injuries, sickness, and pregnancy.
