Disability Insurance in California

I am new agent for disability insurance in California , my client wants future benefit increase rider , but elimination period my client wants should be 30 days or 60 . My client is interested in long term disability , so which company I should
consider can somebody help me .

It totally depends on their job.

They're not available in California.


In California, I'd look at MassMutual and Guardian.

Others would also be Assurity, Mutual of Omaha and The Standard.


For whatever reason, California is really screwed up when it comes to the availability of disability policies from most carriers... as well as life insurance living benefit riders... and even waivers of surrender charges in the event of disability.

I don't know why it is... but that's the reality.
