Can anyone recommend particular vendors for an Executive carve-out Group Disability overlay? Why do you use them? What are their limits? How are their rates? How's the agent comp. look? etc. Any info appreciated.

To clarify, I'm looking for someone who has experience w/ this plan or something similar -

High limit Executive Disability Insurance

I need info on an excess income (i.e. above usual limits), executive benefit overlay on an existing group plan. Unum, Guardian, etc. ain't gonna cut it. Tks.

If their benefits are capped to 60% or 66% of an amount that's less than their income, you can usually add individual coverage. Principal would be a good company for this (provided there are at least three executives), as premiums would be discounted 20-40%, depending on how many females are included (savings on females are greater, as rates are not sex distinct).

Other companies might offer a 10% discount if the executives are billed on one list bill.
