Anyone know of a company that would cover normal pregnancy after a defined waiting period?

I know group/voluntary policies can/do but wondering about stand alone/individual policies.

I'm not sure if it's state specific, but Allstate's DI does cover for maternity. I'm not sure if Allstate is on most people's radar when it comes to these plans, because they do a lot with group marketing, but there are some markets where you can get some of their "group" plans if you are member of local credit union. These accounts have to be set up in advance, but once they are set up, these plans can offer great value to clients.

I am looking for this same coverage for a client. Being based in NY my options are already limited. If anyone knows of a carrier that does this, please let us know.
