Who would be good a good company for a lady to get coverage with for short term disability if she becomes pregnant?

Well, the DI will cover pregnancy but....
First off, the DI will only kick in if the women being pregnant has complications and can not work due do that and that must be back up by the physician. Such as Bedrest being ordered, now the complication has to last longer than the elimination period, most are 30 for STDI and 90 is average for DI and individual policy. Likely a pregnancy in most cases will not trigger a DI payout.
