What is a Great Co for DI Insurance

I am in NO way a DI expert; but do offer many DI contracts. If you would like you may contact my office and speak to our DI specialist. With that being said I will leave you with this.

You will find that most DI companies have their own niche market that they fill and fill well. Assurity is a good company but not the best for every situation. Union Central is also a good company; but again are not the best in every situation.

My first question would be: What type of client are you offering DI too? I hope this helps...........

A VERY broad question indeed!

The answer is - It depends!

There are strengths and weaknesses in each company that writes disability insurance. Some cannot write certain types of risks, others may not be availalble in certain States, others may have some features that are more important than others.

There are going to be variations from carrier to carrier and from State to State.

The best solution is to establish a relationship with a disability brokerage outlet than can offer you different solutions to different situations.

As a starting point, I am very glad to hear that you are wanting to offer your clients disability insurance. It is, hands down, the most important coverage out there.

Good luck and many great sales!

Why try to modify 1 solution to deal with several situations when you can have several solutions to accurately deal with several situations? I work with 10 disability carriers on a daily basis and would love to get you more information.

Depends on your client. We offer several DI carriers here, but my experience is that for your "white collar/professional" guys either Principal or MetLife are very good. Mutual of Omaha is very easy for work with and has a good contract the "blue/gray" collar market.

Using one company exclusively really does not cut-it unless you only insure 1 type of occupation.
