White Collar DI in CA

Need advice from DI experts. I have a family member involved in the finance industry in San Francisco. He's 33 in good health. I have no experience in DI or regulations in Ca.. Looking for a few options to present to him. And what to look for in a DI policy as far as riders available. Current income ranges from $200,000 to $300,000 per year.

What exactly does he do?

The range income is a result of variable income because it's commission based or service based (e.g. billable hours, surguries, etc.) or because he gets bonuses?

Own occ coverage that is non cancelable and guaranteed renewable is where you want to be contract wise.

At his age it's might be nice to look at the possiblity of lifetime coverage.
