Yes, the main thing you can't do is sell life insurance. I'd recommend finding an
IMO to get you up to speed and go through them.
Just because I pass a class and then pass the state test doesn't mean that I'm going to know everything that I need to get started selling, and this forum is a great resource but where else should I be looking to learn more about the policies that I'll be selling ?

Can I pick 4-5 carriers and get them to send me information on their policies and selling/training tools without being licensed ? How is it done ?
I'm assuming you're talking about life carriers. With all the questions you have again I would find a good
IMO with training, instead of trying to go direct to the carriers. Most of them will have a few different carriers for you to use.
