You are correct. It is very difficult to get straight answers on this forum.

Please don't get me wrong. I have had tremendous help from a few of the forums members. I called and spoke with Frank when I was looking for a good script to use as I was cold calling Medicare Supp. customers, and Todd King has been a huge help to me when I call him to ask questions, and he helped me get great contracts, especially since I am brand-new to insurance sales.

So there is help on this forum but I have noticed that it only comes from a select few. I hope that when I become a superstar, AND I WILL, that God gives me a humble heart and I am able to pass along the things that I have learned to help others get started in this business.

TO THE JOKERS.. New guys don't need to be torn apart, they are asking for your help.

BE CAREFUL HOW YOU TREAT PEOPLE ON YOU WAY UP, BECAUSE YOU MAY NEED THEIR HELP ON THE WAY BACK DOWN!!!!

I'm a brand new agent with NO leads and need to build a business fast/cheap.

Our neighborhood is pounded by door to door sales. I finally installed a "NO Soliciting" sign and it works! Wish I had posted it 10 years ago.

I think I might go thru my neighborhood with the idea above. Offer the sign super cheap, introduce myself, install the sign and then give them my card and mention I would love to give them a great quote in the future. Get an email and phone number and do my follow up. If they say no to the sign i can still give them my pitch. My pops has an engraved sign business so my cost will be very low on the signage.

What do you think? Might get a few laughs and break the ice even if they don't want the sign. If I write them up that nite the sign and install might be FREE........
