Did you do the door hangers? Have you had any results? I have no experience with this but based upon the way I treat door hangers on other items I do not think it will be effective. Correct me if I am wrong.

I put together a door hanger campaign with my wife for a Vacation Bible School in GA. She and a couple people went out and were kicked out of a couple of neighborhoods! Watch out for neighborhoods with Associations. You would think that it's similar to direct mail. People get very sensitive when you walk up their driveway.

You are probably mistaken for those kids that peddle magazine subscriptions door to door.
Hardly a day goes by that I don't have something hanging on my mailbox. Pizza, chinese food, roof repair, driveway repair, house cleaning, landscaping . . . and this is from the same company.
If the pizza ad has coupons, and I like their pizza, I will keep the flyer. Otherwise it and everything else goes in the garbage. I have never hired any of the handymen to work on my house but someone must be. The driveway & landscape folks keep putting out flyers so it must work.
Nor have I bought health insurance based on a sign posted on a telephone pole.
My personal opinion is, a well designed business card handed out is more effective than door hangers or mail box hangers.

Maybe. We have a lady here who does "pet sitting" - she'll watch your pets while on vacation and also walk your dog during the day.
All of her business comes from doorhangers in the community - none of the ads she placed ever pulled.

What type neighborhoods? What type of offers were you presenting? What did the hanger look like? Since you were successful what advice do you give.
