What is the standard amount of E&O for health appointments and to sell group health?

I carry 5 million for commercial P&C however it seems that for most health/life appointments 1 million is standard.

Don't rely on my advice alone, but when I was looking @ going independent a lot wanted 500k and I think Assurant wanted 1m.

I have a 1m/1m E&O policy. A couple carriers wanted 500k, but others wanted 1m...guess how much I took?

Thanks, I 've been seeing 500k-1 mill.
Just wanted to make sure that there weren't any larger carriers that required 2 mill.

If you are doing a Life Settlement, but worried about your E/O coverage, most of the larger brokers will put you on their coverage, but they do not advertise this. Make sure when talking to a Settlement Advisor that you ask.
