Forgive me for asking a newbie question...but

How much E&O coverage is needed to be able to sell P&C?

If i have E&O for my life and health license...would that cover P&C?

Depends on the state. In Florida you will need $1,000,000 aggregate or companies will not appoint you. L&H E&O will not work for P&C.

Yep, a cool million. You need to let your e&o carrier know what additional lines of business you'll be offering. Adding p and c will usually increase your premium.
