""I dont wake up in the morning having to take a rip roaring piss. I get up 2 or 3 times in the middle of the night and piss.""

I feel ya Brother!

""The agent that works 5pm to 9pm weekdays and 9am to 5pm saturdays will write three times more business then the agent that thinks the work week is monday thru friday 9am to 5pm and never works saturdays.""

That is an interesting concept, depending on your market. Add in some daytime hours for calling east coast companies, for pending, service, etc..

I dont wake up in the morning having to take a rip roaring piss. I get up 2 or 3 times in the middle of the night and piss. And I laugh when the TV commercials tell me that means I might have an enlarged prostate and should go talk to my Dr to have the problem fixed. Are we going anywhere with this?

Then when i get home, stay up late.

What do you guys suggest for transitioning to early to bed, early to rise?

You guys should try the "Pee-Pouch" from Ronco.

They claim you'll sleep like a baby.

Yeah, but you know what's even worse? Being stranded out in public when you've got to go!

That, my friends, is where the world's greatest invention comes in:

Bladder Buddy - a comfortable product that allows men to urinate discreetly. Secure, easy to use urine bag tote.

Get a wife that doesn't work outside of the house and lets you know everything that you need on a daily basis.

I promise you that in a few weeks, you won't be able to sleep late.

get to the office at 10. work till 2, got to the gym till 4, come back and work till 8.
If you want to be successful in this business, start by setting your alarm clock a bit earlier to get your gym time in before the work day begins.

Your schedule reminds me of a guy I worked with years ago. Watched Today before coming to work. Never got in the office before 10. Sat at his desk, waiting on the phone to ring. Left at 3 to go play tennis.

"And those that work 8 a.m until 9 p.m. do even better. I see that you've been posting quite a bit on the forum, and just curious about your experience in the insurance business."
================================================
Im in my late 40's and have been a insurance agent since the very early 80's. When I was 21 I saw an ad in the paper for a job as an insurance agent for Medico. I went in and applied and of course I got hired since everyone got hired! They threw the Life and Health license study books at me and told me to come back when I passed my license. I scheduled to take the next test which was 2 weeks away. I kept telling myself I was going to study but it never happened. I went to take the test at the university at 8am saturday morning and had a hangover that was killing me since I did not go to bed until 2am in the morning after a hard night at the bar. So I studied 15 mins before the test out in the parking lot and went in. After 1 hour I was done with the test and in a room with 400 people in it I was the only one done. I thought Im either the dumbest one in this room or the smartest. I started to go back over my answers but my hangover was killing me so I handed my test in and went back home and crashed. I passed and 2 weeks later I had my license and was out on the road 250 miles from home riding around with a shark learning how to sell med supps and life insurance! I worked there for a year and a half and it seemd like 15 years. One day at the weekly sales meeting I was sitting there and just decided I could not stand to listen to another word come out of my blow hard bosses mouth so I walked up after it was over and told him as much and said I quit. Of course he told me I was making a big mistake and begged me not to quit but in the end I quit and of course he never paid me another dime of my renewals. For the next 5 years I drifted around various agencies that specialized in Senior sales. Sold alot of Pioneer Life and Colonial Penn and Physicians Mutual and of course all those renewals were stole from me as well. Then I broke out and started my own agency and my first company I got hooked up with directly was United American with a 60% commission. I thought I was on easy street then! . I learned alot from those a-holes I worked for those first few years but I also had to un-learn alot of stupid stuff that I learned form them too! Most of those sharks I once worked with are either dead or retired now but Im still doing it .Im still on my own to this day 20 years later specializing in Life and Health.
