Would appreciate any advice on my prospect of being appointed by a new company (in any lines). I recently filed for chapter 7 due to someone running up my cards. Am currently working for a life company and would like to transition into a more stable, salaried position that would utilize my all lines license.

Forget the reason why you filed; Ch 7 Bk is Ch 7 Bk, no matter why it happened. The fact that you were irresponsible enough to allow someone to have your card(s) is NO excuse. If they appropriated your card w/o your permission, then that is fraud and you should be prosecuting them. No matter.

Unlikely that you will be appointed by a company that is going to pay you a salary. If you can land such a positions it would be a testament to your knowledge and skills, because this will take overwhelming someone in a BIG way to do so, IMO.

All you can do if you get in a situation where someone is interested in hiring you is explain the extenuating circumstances that lead to your chapter 7.

Agree with above comments if have to explain whole situation or if you consult any professionals they also asks same questions.
