I had a meeting with a 35 life group that has but great value in their health insurance and wellness programs.

You should of seen their faces when I pitched the HRA approach.
They were shocked!

I explained to them the that there are not going to be any traditional affordable options in the small group market.
Again they were shocked.

They were spending about $180K a year on health plan and HSA contributions.

Why I am posting this is because of the response from the old man the owner but then the response by the son.

Just like in the Godfather, "Sonny was hot for my deal"

The HRA approach may not be go over with the older generation because it has been pounded in their head to provide a group health plan. I think it's a morale issue. In the past I have been one to sell the group plan in that manner

The younger generation, is wiling to think about benefits it differently.
The HRA appeals to them.

They will probably be even more shocked when the #### hits the fan. I hope, for their sake, that the carrier isn't too harsh with them.
