When doing a mailing you really want to stay clear of any unlimited download platform. The data on that can be iffy, but when you are spending money on printing and postage, you need the most accurate of data.
From my experience, using a mail house for this kind of marketing is best. If it was more effective doing it yourself, more people would not be buying mail drops from these companies.

Prospecting for commercial insurance using mail isn't something I've heard of anyone being successful at.
With any mailing list, I'd you're using a ncoa service before mailing (most print houses do) it cleans any bad addresses out.
