Need Help with Decision

Both paths beg for a full-time focus - especially given that you are just getting started. You may be best served picking one path and focusing your efforts in that one area.

At age 23, you are trying to get too much on your plate.
I would say you should continue to just focus on the 50+ group market.
Otherwise, you will spread yourself too thin.

Let me first say I am very impressed with you being 23 and writing mainly 50+ life groups.

How many groups do you have that are 50+?

With that block I would recommend going out and writing the non medical benefits with those groups. With the relationship you already have in place it will be easier to write those benefits either contributory or voluntary.

Then once you know both sides then you will be more informed on what kind of service is needed.

My advice to you is to concentrate on selling.

I think it would be difficult to recruit agents to sell a product that you have little experience at along with your limited time selling employee benefits.

How long have you been in the business? 6 months? 1 year?

I have to agree with ABC the world seems to be full of recruiters that could not close a door without help. A good manager needs to be a good salesman. A good salesman does'nt have to be a good manager. t hall
