What kind of certification is required to sell Medicare Supplements?

The kind that UHC requires. Other than that, there is no certification from any other carrier of which I know. (I could have said "I know of" but that would be bad grammar).

I have tried this for the last 3 years. When I comes to my clients I expect a high level of customer service. None of the MA/Sup guys want to provide it.

With Humana I was doing just a referral fee and I could never collect.

At this point I have to get certified and take care of this myself.
 
We are going through the certification process this year.

We're planning to sell Anthem Blue Cross, Connecticare and AARP's products. I've got 2 certifications done and just submitted appointment paperwork for the third.

You don't need certification to sell Medicare Supplements but I would imagine that not selling both puts one at disadvantage in the senior health insurance market.
