Passed the exam in Pittsburgh 18 mos, ago, but did not send in for my license. I am now ready to go to work in W.V Do I have to take the exam again? What d o I do? Who do I contact? Thanks Mike

First off, I think there is at statutory time limit on licensing following completion of your exam. You may also have to complete additional CE's. I am not sure what it is in your state. You will have to apply for a non-resident license to work across state lines (unless you are moving there, then of course, you would apply for an in state license). The respective state DOI's can answer all these questions.

You were never licensed in PA so there is no reciprocity. You only have three potential options. (1)If you can still become licensed in PA, then you have 90 days to apply for a WV license and can avoid pre-licensing class requirements and testing. (2)You could find out from your pre-licensing course provider if the class you took qualifies for WV. If so then you would only have to take the exam for WV. (3)Start from scratch with WV.
