We are setting up a new office and will be putting our new address on the website next week.
I have come to one conclusion it is very easy for people to say anything they want on forums like this sitting behind there computer. I am very professional in what I do and would never handle myself unprofessionally like I have seen here. I have never been told face to face things that you people have said because after meeting me everyone knows how professional I am.
Excuse me but you come here, you post behind a cloak, you seek to market us a service, you don't identify yourself, and you get pissed that we (Rick and I) call you out on it.
Rick has been in the insurance biz since the dinosaurs roamed. I'm much newer to it. But neither of us are as stupid or as ignorant as you seem to think we are.
I think you have one and only one chance to validate yourself and that is to fully identify yourself, your company, and what your credentials are such that we should put our trust in you.
You don't know the history here, but when Rick and I both agree that you are FOS, it's got to be right because we don't often agree on what day of the week it is!!
Do yourself a favor and tell us your name, your company, and why we should take your postings seriously. You can do this. It's not rocket science. You're not the first guy to come on here thinking you can BS your way to making a ton of money off of agents. And you may get past an idiot like me, but take it to the bank that you are NOT going to get past Rick, Healthagent, Dave020, Melmunch, STI, Moon, Winter, Xrac, Mr. Bill, Paradigm, and two dozen others here who are nobody's fool.
They will have you for lunch. Do yourself a favor and cut the crap and be honest with us.

Do you consider it professional to make up statistics on a website?
"We have all heard the hype about making over $100,000 a year in the insurance business. We all want to, but statistically in the United States only 2% of Americans every reach that level"
The 10th percentile of AGI according to the IRS:
$108,904 - 2006
$103,912 - 2005
$99,112 - 2004
Also, for a copy writer, your grammar and structure are quite poor on your website. You might want to consider hiring someone qualified to write your content.
I don't know you. I'm not out to attack you personally. But, you opened yourself up to criticism by posting here.
Too many desperate people are scammed by posts like yours. If you're legitimate, take up the free 25 lead offer with a forum member. If they like your service, you will be FLOODED with hundreds of customers. Is that not worth 25 leads? How would that make you go broke, as you assert?
This sounds great on the surface, but yes, your first post is a bit suspicious. Why dont you convince your partners to ante up about 25 leads for an experienced producer here on the forum to test and report? It has actually been done on a few occasions and the posts of their results are very detailed. If the leads are as you described, you shouldnt have any problem getting plenty of new agents to sign up. You could even follow along with the results thread and stay in contact with the tester by phone.
You stand to earn a lot of money if the leads are as you have described, because we are ALL looking for good leads.
Hey thanks for the response and not just slamming me without knowing me. I would be in favor of that maybe 15 leads, but the problem is knowing who to give them to. Becuase I am new on here and I have seen some peoples postings that have been on for a while and all they do is critize and that would not be worth my money. Maybe I will post a new thread and ask peoples opinions on who would be best to give them to and follow through that way. What do you think?

Well I am sorry for the levels that you are talking about. I did my research but I should have went to the IRS to find more. I appreciate that impute. And you are right I have opened myself up to everything on this forum. Also thanks for the feed back about the site, I need to invest some more money into it I see. I am taking into consideration everything you all are saying, the hard part is getting my character slammed, no one likes that, and that is what eats at me.
It will be worth looking at the right person to run these leads. I will invest in that because I know they are good and yes it will be worth while to have the positive response. All I know is the are good and agents need good leads. Who do you suggest would be well respected on this forum to have run them?

I would probably do 10 each for the two people. Who do you suggest is an ACTIVE agent selling health insurance that would be respected here on the forum

I am an active agent selling in Michigan and I'd be happy to test even 5 of them. I have been looking for a telemarketed lead source for some time now, and I'd offer an honest evaluation.
Sorry can not respond yet to PM's I need 30 posts. I have a couple of questions for you. Do you sell over the phone or face to face? Are you the owner of your lead company?

Ok, do you sell face to face or over the phone? Do you sell mainly health insurance? Oh many policies to you write now per month? Sorry for so many questions, but I have to have the right people for this or I will be screwed. Thanks

I do about 60/40 phone, face-to-face. If I feel that the person wants a meeting, I offer it. The majority of the time, they would like to handle it over the phone and waste as little time as possible. Volume questions I'd rather not answer on the open forum, but I will tell you that I've received the top bonuses offered by 2 of my carriers and earned 2 trips this summer and fall so far this year. I sell 100% health insurance, even life policies I forward to another agent.

Sounds like a good idea. See, my intentions are more selfish than anything else. I'm looking for decent sources of leads so I can hop back in the saddle if I'm forced to come home in June (I'm in Japan, long story). If you have a quality lead source, and the ROI appears to be good, I'll be on em like stink on shiznit!
But some honest reviews by folks who have used them would definitely help in determining whether or not it's a good source for me to go with. If you read around the forum a bit, some sources started out good, then either turned to oversold junk, or the company just up and disappeared, taking agent's money with them. That is why everyone is taking you to task.
Yeah I understand the concern. The good part of our leads is that the telemarketing company has been in existence since 1999. They have definitely put there time in. Right now they do about 2,000 leads a week. Not bad, but they are looking to grow more. My agents and I have used these leads for about 2 years and have been very happy with them. But, they are still just leads. They are typically about 1 to 2 days old, and they use your name as the agent when they call. They are well qualified and you have all the pertinent information. If I am comfortable with the right people I don't mind investing the money in giving away some leads

Well far be it from me to neglect to offer to help!
I currently generate a portion of my leads from a private telemarketer and sell health 80% over the phone (20% F2F). Why, I'd be happy to compare your telemarketed exclusives to mine!

You should use Moonlightandmargaritas. I tend to disagree with Paul on about everything, but he is a very respected forum member and methodical tester of multiple lead sources. If he gives you the thumbs up, you'll be golden.
He's not a friend of mine, so the suggestion is unbiased.
Thanks alot I will look into using him. I really appreciate everyones posts and pm's
