I am a 8+ year veteran of the insurance industry. I deal primarily with Personal Lines P&C products, although I have sold life & health and financial products in the past.

My present position is in customer service/sales- I'm looking to move into management and/or underwriting in the (hopefully) not too distant future. Because I work for a captive, I've had a chance to do some underwriting (side by side w/ the sales/service) for the past two and a half years or so- fascinating stuff.

In 2007, I earned a claims related designation, FCLS (Fraud Claims Law Specialist).

At any rate, I love the insurance biz. What I do is really not a bad way to make a living. There are so many things to learn and so many ways to grow.

I post on a number of other insurance message boards- but the conversations I see here have really piqued my interest.

I have been creeping around these forums for some time now and thought it may be time to register and introduce myself.

I have my P&C license have been in the industry for just about a year now. I work for an independent agency in Broward County Florida. I write everything from home and auto to commercial, trucks, yachts etc.

Sometime down the rode I plan to open my own agency and I hope to be able to share ideas with everyone on this forum so we can all help better each other.
