FE Script and Data             Go to Top

Hello All,

Let me start off by saying I've been reading this forum for a couple weeks now and have gained a great deal of knowledge from the posters and I greatly appreciate the help.

I've decided to return to the insurance business after taking a break to work in the banking industry(hated it). I want to focus on FE but its something I never really had a chance to do before.

I'm hiring a telemarketer to do some calling for me along with other leads I plan to purchase, but I'm in need of a solid script. If anyone has one they wouldn't mind sharing I would be very thankful. Some ideals on filters for my data would be great also(age, income, etc.).

Don't take this the wrong way, but my guess is starting in "FE" is a sucker bet, just like "MP" was before it. What's next?

If you want to be successful, figure out what everyone is doing...and then do the opposite. Otherwise you're just one of the crowd...

Good luck finding a good script on here...people just don't share 'em. If you come across a good one that yields good results, maybe you can be the first to post it.

Are you talking about a script for the telemarketer to make appointments or are you talking about a script to use in the home?

Don't take this the wrong way moonlightandmargaritas but I have no clue what your talking about.

Jdeasy - I'm looking for a script for my telemarketer. If no one has any to share its cool. I understand that people are hesitant to give out information they've worked hard to test and perfect but I didn't see the harm in asking.

Thanks again for any help.

I don't like to call it a script because I'm not an actor. I suppose one could call it a script because I say the same thing everytime.

I make my own appointments from mailer leads. FE is the only thing I make appointments for. I do other business, such as med sups and some term, but, those all come from my FE appointments or referrals from my FE appointments.

I call the number on the lead and ask for the person on the card. If it's Frank and Linda Doe on the card, I will ask for Frank or Linda Doe no matter who answers, male or female. If it's a male and he says, "I'm Frank Doe", I will say "OK Mr. Doe, {I always use Mr. and Mrs. and the last name after that first time that I ask for them, some people say they use people's first names, but, I don't unless they tell me to use their first name}, this is JD and I'm with, {my company}, we are the folks you sent in a request for information to about our final expense life insurance program and I'm the guy that takes care of that in your area. The reason I'm calling is because I'm going to be in your town tomorrow and I need 10 minutes of your time to go over that. I have an opening at 10:00am, is that good for you?"

That's my whole "script". Anything different than that is because they asked a question or that time is not good for them.

I was looking for a cold calling script. Warm leads are easy sauce. I'm working on something and will try it out. If I get some good results I'll post it.
