Craigslist for Selling FE?

I know this will sound naive, but didn't know exactly what Craigslist was

Went to my local site, and, 2 comments:

I. If the listing would be allowed, It seems to me like you have a potential customer base of everyone coming to the site-in a categorized listing of 44 categories I don't know how you would get the attention of everyone.

II. Under prohibited content I see this:

- postings or email the primary purpose of which is to drive traffic to a website
- postings or email offering, promoting, or linking to unsolicited products or services

So it looks to me like you are proposing an activity which violates the intent of the (Craigslist) listing service.

Someone would have to be looking for a particular type of insurance.

Don't think so.

1 - Wouldn't have a website.

2 - Wouldn't be an unsolicited product or service if the prospect if the potential customer is looking for it.

Not saying it would work, but it wouldn't violate CL's requirements. Run a search for auto insurance and you'll see what I mean.

Craigslist is a significant buying and selling platform. People use it to successfully market their merchandise through ads on this site. If your goal is to advertise on Craigslist, I don't think it's the right platform for you. However, I can advise you on a place where you can find an alternative Craigslist platform to implement your idea. If you're interested, here's the link https://moneysavedmoneyearned.com/craigslist-alternatives/ . The site offers you 22 alternative media that are worthy replacements for Craigslist. I hope the information I've shared with you will be helpful to you. Best of luck to you!

Since you are experienced, you will likely do better with aged leads. You already have language skills and you are not depending on it to pay your day to day bills. If you want to post on any social media, you have to be pretty quick to respond to have a good closing ratio. That may be harder for an older agent to keep up. You will find a 24 year old looking for fe policy for their grandfather who has an attention span of 87 seconds to respond. Craiglist is usually also full of hooker/escort adds so just understand the crowd you are advertising. Every time I advertised for a roommate, I had the escorts chasing me
