Seems many of the high producing agents in this forum live in the South. Is FE easier in the south because people are friendlier? Does Southern Hospitality make fe sales easier?

I have worked both Indiana and TN. I did not see a any d difference.

It sure doesn't make it harder. As they say up there in the Northeast, "you got a problem with that?"
Folks are pretty friendly nationwide - except for the Northeast. Stressed, angry, bitter and cynical for the most part.

I think it comes from being more laid back. Most successful salesmen/women of any kind in the South get that. If you're too pushy down here, people resist. That's not to say, don't take the assumptive close, but if you push too hard it's a little tough. From my dealings with "Yankees", you don't get any respect unless you are a little pushy...same goes with different ethnicities, depending on your product.
That being said, I don't see how the Midwest or Southwest is any different in that aspect from the Southeast, people are generally more open/relaxed/friendly. New England and Northwest folks...I wouldn't even know how to relate.
