I am interested in making a move to the Loveland, Colorado area but before doing that I wanted to inquire on the Final Expense market in Colorado. I would like to have some input whether it is a Good or Bad market in that area for that type of business.

We have had agents produce over 5k in FE a week there so if you have a book or good lead source you should do fine in FE in the area.

Also make sure you have products you can cover a variety of health conditions.

Question, On average, how many appointments per week would a new person have to go on to make 5K, per week?

Does anyone know how the med supp market is in Colorado? I am interested in moving to the Denver area. I currently live in West Michigan

One would need to set around 20 to close 5k a week. Need to have a few easy referrals in there also. It is very hard for a brand new agent to close 5k a week.

Would it be safe to say, someone would need to mail out 2000 pieces every week to make that amount.

I don't know what the response rate is there, but, counting on 1% would be generous. That's 20 leads from a 2000 piece mailer. If you can make 20 appointments on 20 leads, just name your price as an appointment setter.

But, just say you do get 20 appointments per week. An average FE policy would get you $500 ap. You need 10 sales to get $5000.

I've never seen a new agent close 50% of the appointments. All you have to do is be the first.
