Final Expense Script

Hello All,
I have a preset appointment telemarketing group calling for final expense in addition to med supps. I need a good Final Expense script for them to use on my campaign, Im not a fan of theirs. Anybody have any ideas, examples or scripts?
 
Here is one we have used for setting appointments from our call center in the past, it seemed to do ok getting the agents in the door.

Final Expense Script

Hello Mr./Mrs._____________ this is ________ from the
CSI out reach center. The reason for my call today is to
alert you to two very important Social Security statistics.
The first one is that the government only provides a $255
death benefit and unfortunately that is only if you qualify.
The second thing is that Social Security statistics tell us that
there is typically a 50% reduction in house hold income
when a spouse passes away. However there is not typically
a 50% reduction is the cost of living.
Now Mr./Mrs.___________ I am calling today with some
great news, there is currently a couple new programs
available in your area. One will allow you to increase your
final expense coverage so the burden of your funeral will
not fall on your family, and the other is an Income

Adjustment concept that allows you to receive additional
income during this income adjustment period when your
spouse passes away. Many seniors in your area have
already requested this FREE
information. Let me verify
your address to be sure a representative gets YOU
this
information also.
If Agent calling:

information. I am going to be in your area delivering this
information to some of your neighbors. What would be
better for you next ________at ______ o’clock or would
________at _______o’clock be better?

Which part are you not interested in adding on extra
coverage so you loved ones will be prepared or the income
adjustment program? Many people I talk too believe they
can not afford or qualify for any additional coverage,
however in many cases I can get people qualified for very
affordable plans. I sure you would agree that it would not
hurt to get a quote. I’ll be in your neighborhood anyways
would_____at _______or ______at_________ be better.

I like that script better than the phone call I once got. "As your family gathers around your casket, will they have to pass the hat to pay those expenses, or would you prefer to take care of that now?"
 
But you still remember that phone call, don't you...?

My guess is had the same solicitor called with the other (wordy) script, you would have no recollection of that.

The question is, which of the two will result in more premium placed...?

The script in the prior post is more of a presentation, not a phone script, IMO. Way too wordy, but maybe if selling over th phone it may be more suited. I think the original poster asked for a script for setting f2f appts for FE... Not a sales presentation and closing techniques over the phone.

So that begs the question... did you buy the FE ins, or are you going to let your family take up a collection at your funeral...? (or they could just throw you in the river...)

I am so tempted to test drive that script, just to see what kind of reaction I will get. I may even use an unscrubbed list for better novelty.
