We don't even know if we are going to be affected by this storm yet and the store shelves are empty. My elderly parents are depending on me to help them get their property secure. My property also needs some attention. Plus I need to work. Glad I wrote $4600AP today because by Thursday most people around here will have Irma on their mind not their final expenses. I stayed during Opal, but if this one looks like it is headed this way I am going north.

I'm in the same boat. I had plans to leave town for a wedding planned months ago but I'm very worried about my home and cats.

Based on the new models they are showing today, Id suggest going North West. Tallahassee has lots of hills (for FL) and hotels...
Good luck, we've got a friend located there. So we're keeping a pretty close eye on IRMA as well. Just get out as fast as possible!

We got really lucky where I live in Houston, but a couple streets over got immense damage. Be safe mate, better to run than get caught in that monster.
