Settling a Debit Balance/Vector Removal

Would you think the carrier would be obligated to remove you from Vector if they agreed to a settlement (as opposed to paying the full amount owed) through the collection agency they were using to collect said debit balance?

I suspect they are only obliged to report that you are making payments.

Perhaps you should have insisted on it being removed as part of the settlement?
