Final Expense Over Age 85

Does anyone know a Final Expense co. that will accept people over age 85 in NC? If so what is the max age? Does it have to be face to face or is telephone ok?

If it helps North Carolina Mutual will write up to 90 YO WL, I believe it has to be face to face though.

Really, North Carolina Mutual can do that? But how much do they let you get it?

Sagicor Life will offer a policy to someone up to age 90. They offer a whole life policy and when the amount is under $50,000 it is underwritten on a simplified basis.

At 85 the insurance is going to cost so much you might as well sell them an annuity.

In my opinion it is usually only about the commission at that age. Not to much leverage there.
