Final Expense Program             Go to Top

We have several programs in place…the fastest one currently is selling a final expense policy over the phone.

No signatures
No applications
The client hangs up the phone with coverage in place
The agent is PAID twice a week!!

We have two lead systems in place, both telemarketing leads.

Once they hear the message, they hit the number 1 and are transferred to a live operator who qualifies them again. After that, the lead is sent to the agent within the hour.

When you can call the applicant, tell them the program, and get the insurance carrier on the phone. The carrier then 3 ways the client onto the call, verifies the answers, then the client is given a policy number on the phone! They hang up with coverage in place. Takes 20-30 minutes total for a sale!

There are three final expense programs – an immediate benefit plan, a graded plan, and a ROP plan depending on their health.

If you would like more information or contracting paperwork, send me an email to ameltzer@crownfingroup.com

We also sell almost all term, final expense, annuity and UL carriers as well.
Let me know what you are interested in selling and we will send you a competitive offering on commissions.

I have a group of agents that are selling this product full time. They are bringing between 3500-5500 of first year premiums a week!

How much does it cost them to do this
Lead gen / tele-sales ?

Why do you have to advertise such an easy system? Seems like the recruiting would be simple to do. You should have us beating down your doors if so simple.

What's the catch? Sounds good but looks fuzzy from here.

Help me see clear.

Lead cost is $10 a lead. There is no cost for the telesales part, no recording devices needed, ect.

You are right, agents are beating down the door for this product. Even with a great product, you still have to advertise; so I spent the 2 min. and put a post on this board.

re: Final Expense Program             Go to Top

People are jumping into "final expense" lately becaue MA plans are kind of messed up, and this is perceived to be the "next big thing"... but I have been selling it since 1986. So I don't see what the big deal is -all of a sudden.

Re: Final Expense Program             Go to Top

It looks good to me .... i just wanted to know if anyone felt it was "too good to be true."

Since no one said anything, I'm going to assume that it is as it appears ...

Take care

Re: Final Expense Program             Go to Top

I would love to do nothing but write FE plans but I have't had much success in the past with it. Business reply cards are expensive and get less than 1 percent return. I've hired telemarketer to call they pull 1 lead every 3 - 4 hrs. Seniors getting hammered with offers all the time. Half the business
I have writen a fallen off the books. If there is away to make money in FE I would love to know how?

I would say there are two known ways to make a living in FE.

One is do do like Hoosier Daddy and Stratos and several others on the board do which is buy leads, call and set a bunch of appointments, spend 2 or 3-days in the field per week selling them, Fridays process your work and repeat it week after week. For this to work, you must have a lot of money to generate leads or get in a program where they supply leads for a reduced commission. You also must be willing to travel some. This method gives you a LOT of freedom.

The 2nd way is to go to work for a funeral home as their preplanning insurance agent. Sell their funeral preplanning insurance to their clients. This is more like a 9-5 job than many agents would be willing to do. You will sell MUCH higher end clients and the sales NEVER fall off the books. You won't need any money to get leads, the funeral homes have thousands of leads. This method gives you less freedom.

Either one can make you very successful if you are a hard worker.

We use autodialer leads.
They are cheap and have a good close ratio
