Foresters Final Expense             Go to Top

Has anyone seen this product? Know anything about it? Trust it?

I am being offered a good contract from a trusted source, but because of what I remember about their previous Life products (not that the product was necessarily bad - just the pushers involved) I have my reservations.

I can't remember the name of that pyramid group that peddled them. Who was it?

I think it will be a good product. It has 3 products built in it simplified, graded 30/70 and a return of premium. They also have a simplified term product. I am planning to represent them as an IMO and will be offering good contracts for them in the near future.

Re: Foresters Final Expense             Go to Top

Does Foresters have a final expense product? I'm contracted with them and have been for almost 4 years, they haven't sent me anything about a FE product.

They introduced the Armor product. Are some calling that FE? It's not.

As far as a company, they are very, very difficult to work with. Their website is terrible and their chargeback policy is terrible.

I can't think of a reason to add Foresters to one's portfolio. Can someone give me a good reason to use them?

Yes they do, it's called "PlanRight". The rates are very good. I'm not sure what you are referring to on the chargeback policy so I can't comment on that one.

They chargeback 100% for lapses and deaths in the first 6 months. Then prorate months 7 thru 12.

They must not offer the PlanRight for agents that contracted thru NAA.

Foresters doesn't issue policies, they issue certificates of insurance. I believe I've read your posts saying you would never write for a company that issues certificates.

The best that I've found is $495 a year without membership. $395 with membership.

CLick Here to see where I get my e and o.

Re: Foresters Final Expense             Go to Top

I did a little checking on this FE product from Foresters today. First they told me the did not offer a FE product. Then when pressed, they said they were going to bring out a FE product, but, it wasn't available to agents contracted thru NAA.

They wanted to know how I heard about the product. They then sent me to another dept. to see if I wanted to terminate my NAA contract and then go with another FMO/IMO. I didn't pursue it further.

It is called their Plan Right final expense. I now got the application and other stuff for it and will be offering excellent contracts if anyone wants information. Also I will be able to offer a non-med term though them with great commissions as well.

And you didn't take that opportunity to get away from NAA?

I am away from NAA. I haven't gotten any of their leads in over 2 years. I haven't written a Foresters app in over a year. I could move my contract if I wanted. I just didn't see the need. I didn't like writing for them on their {anything but} simplified issue stuff, so, there is no need to write FE for them. They don't have leads and they don't compare to the products I do have. No sense pursuing it further.

I did wonder why they are not offering it thru the NAA side.

I think it is 110pct through my FMO. I just contracted with them but don't have the paperwork back yet, it has only been a week.

I have not found anyone to beat Settlers for fe, the only thing is they do not take diabetics on insulin. Foresters call this product whole Life in SC. One good thing is you can write up to $35,000

What factors are you basing this on?
