WinAntiVirus Removal Tool

Remove-WinAntiVirus.AdwareA

I am not familiar with this particular vendor, but I do know that some sites promoting virus or adware removal are actually installing trojans and such when you scan or download their trial version.

I don't know what, if anything, can be done about the Google ads, but I would hate to think that someone visiting our forum picked up a virus or trojan from an ad.

We who run Macs never even think of such a thing. We let all you Windows folks worry about that for us.

This is the second time in a single day I agree with The Jackass.

My MacBook Air is just fine and virus free.

Are you sure you really want to go public with that?

One very nice piece of hardware engineering. If anyone does a lot of traveling this is the weapon of choice. Get one with at least 2 gig of RAM and you can run WinXP on it side by side with OS X should you need to run Winflex or some other proprietary XP-only software.

(BTW, Winflex is on the web. I just found out about it.)

No, I'm still trying to figure out where to pick up these Trojans you speak of.

Good news.

You no longer have to go to the drugstore and ask the 16 year old girl where they are. You can now download them on your PC.

And possibly on Mac's running XP . . .
