I currently own a P&C agency and have two locations. We mostly write standard auto policies but I do have a couple of preferred carriers. I have a friend and former co-worker who's interested in opening an additional office under my license, he would pay for the up front cost to get the office set up, the company contract would be under my license.
What I'd like are some opinions on how to set up the commission and broker fee split. Writing standard auto most of the income is going to come from broker fees. If any one's done this or has some good ideas I would really appreciate it.
