I seem to run across something like the above an awful lot. You find a service you really want to use and you find that it is not compatible with the Mac. Using a Macintosh in business can be a handicap. For most things it's fine, but not all.

Anyone have a subsitute for GoLeads? I could use their Small Business plan, but it's too expensvie to start out. Or maybe I need to just buy a PC. What a PITA :-)

Get a used PC.

I bought a used desktop for the home for $125. They had used monitors (the old kind, not the LCD type) for $7, and a keyboard and mouse were $10. All we use it for is Quicken for ourselves (wife and I) and emailing. I use my laptop for business and my desktop for home.

Look in your local yellow pages for computer stores and call around. I have had mine for 2 years and no probs so far (knocking on wood).

Run windows on your MAC. I used to run windows on my MAC in the late 90's. It worked fairly well and I could run all PC applications. I would expect that they have improved the software significantly by now. Check it out. It's free.

Now you can get software that will let you run windows without having to reboot. I use both, but the Mac is a superior machine in every way and the new OSX operating system running on a FreeBSD kernel is several leagues better than WinXP.
