GA's For for the newly licensed?             Go to Top

I've been searching for Ga's and trying to find who can offer the best training and products. It's proving to be harder than I thought, so I thought I'd ask for some guidance. At this point I don't need the best deal (but it wouldn't hurt I need a Companies that will help get me started, and it would be a plus if they had a good selection of co. to represent.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

What products are you looking to sell? Do you need a health GA, life and disability GA or both?

Ok, maybe this will help.

For individual & family health, do not use a GA/FMO. There is no override for them on IFP business in CA so they will end up being primary agent you will only get reduced commission and lose client (from your book of business). For IFP, use your RSM from each carrier to help you sell the plans if you need help with them. Each domestic carrier (Cross, Shield, HNet, Kaiser) has an RSM that will help you with this.

For group health, if you are wanting to work with multiple carriers, some good GAs for California are:

www.benefitmall.com
Word & Brown
Rogers Benefit Group
Dickerson Employee Benefits

I have worked with the top two and never with 3 and 4.

For life, disability, annuity I use

BrokersAlliance.com - Providing Life Insurance and Annuity products to Agents in all 50 states.

1-800-290-7726 ext. 117 ask for Lisa, tell her I sent you.
